The Rendezvous is located at 502 Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square
in Cambridge, between Brookline Street and Pearl Street -- a short walk
from MIT.
We offer VALET SERVICE on Friday and Saturday evenings, starting at 6pm.
Public transportation: The restaurant is located one block south of the Central Square Red Line T stop. When exiting the T station, walk towards MIT and you will find us on the right hand side of Massachusetts Avenue between Pearl and Brookline streets. The main intersection in Central Square (Prospect and Mass Ave) is also home to stops for the No. 1 bus and the No. 91 bus.
Coming from Back Bay: After crossing the Mass Ave Bridge continue past MIT three blocks and the Rendezvous will be on your left hand side one full block before the main Central Square intersection at Prospect Street.
Coming from Memorial Drive: Exit Memorial Drive at the rotary for the BU Bridge in the direction of Central Square/Cambridgeport and follow Brookline Street to Mass Ave in Central Square. Turn left onto Mass Ave and the Rendezvous is in the first block on your left hand side.
Coming from I-93: Take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive) and follow Storrow Drive West. Take the Mass Ave Exit and turn right to cross the Mass Ave Bridge (Harvard Bridge) over into Cambridge. Follow the directions above from Back Bay to the Rendezvous.
Coming from the Mass Pike: Exit at the Cambridge/Brighton interchange (Exit 18) and cross over the Charles River into Cambridge. Continue straight on River Street to Mass Ave and turn right. We are located one full block on your right hand side.
Parking near the restaurant
Parking is easy, convenient and inexpensive in Central Square. There are 3 public parking lots located within one city block of the Rendezvous.
Just around the corner from the restaurant on the same side of Mass Ave, there is a 3-storey parking garage with an attendant at the corner of Pearl Street and Green Street, and the price is only $1 per hour!
There is an open-air city parking lot across Mass Ave behind Blockbuster Video (Bishop Allen Drive and Norfolk Street), and another open-air lot across Mass Ave behind Quest Diagnostics/McDonalds (Bishop Allen Drive and Douglass Street). In both of these lots, the meters go off at 6pm so parking is FREE in the evenings.
